Save the Date for a Back to School Bash!
Candies Creek City Church will be hosting a Back to School Bash from 11:00a-2:00p on Saturday, July 30th. Free admission, food, inflatables and games. School Supplies will be given as prizes for games. Be sure to come join us for some fun!
Registration Information
Registration: Tuesday, August 2nd, Drop –in from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Parents and guardians need to attend Registration on Tuesday, August 2nd 2016, drop-in from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. You will find me in room 15, which is down the main hall on the right not far from the kindergarten rooms. Please bring the following items to registration:

- Proof of Residency (Copy of your current utility bill or a renters/lease agreement)
- $25.00 Materials’ Fee (Checks can be made payable to Stuart Elementary.)
- School Supplies (I have provided a supply list in this mailing for your convenience.)
- Be prepared to let me know how your child will be going home in the afternoons.
Parent Meeting
Classroom Parent Meeting: Tuesday, August 11th at 5:30 p.m.
Classroom Parent Meeting will be on Thursday, August 11th at 5:30 p.m. This meeting is for parents and guardians only, so please make child care arrangements. You will come to our classroom, room 15. At this meeting, I will review school and classroom procedures. This will include things like morning and afternoon student drop off and pick up, lunch room procedures, classroom goals and expectations, what to expect for homework, family volunteer opportunities, and so on. This is a very important meeting, so please make plans to attend.

First Day of School
First Day of School: Monday, August 8th from 8:15 a.m. until 11:20 a.m.
The first day of school will be on Monday, August 8th from 8:15 a.m. until 11:20 a.m. Buses will run this day. This does count as a regular attendance day, so please make sure your child is present and on time. Students can be dropped off at school beginning at 7:40 a.m., when they can eat breakfast. Students will be released to classrooms at 8:15 a.m., and the tardy bell will ring at 8:30 a.m. Beginning Tuesday, August 9th and continuing throughout the year, students will attend the full day, from 8:15 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
